DEGREASER HEAVY DUTY supplier Distributor Manufacturer in Kolkata West Bengal india

East India chemicals Supplier & Manufacturer of DEGREASER HEAVY DUTY  in kolkata India . it is a solvent-based concentrated emulsifier, which contains active penetrating agents, emulsifiers, and surfactants. It effectively cleans mineral oils, greases, and petroleum-based chemicals.

Application

DEGREASER HEAVY DUTY can be used as a cleaner for soiled machinery, boilers and heat exchangers, on decks and engine rooms and/or cooling water systems prior to descaling operations. It is also an excellent general purpose degreaser.

Use and dosing

DEGREASER HEAVY DUTY can be applied by hand spraying, brushing, soaking or any other conventional method. Apply diluted (1:5) with kerosene or diesel oil or undiluted on soiled areas and allow 15-20 minutes for the product to act. Then rinse off thoroughly with fresh or sea water, preferably hot under pressure.

A. SPRAY METHOD:

Spray over soiled areas neat and allow 15-20 minutes to act. Rinse off by hosing hot fresh water. Where deposits persist, allow longer action time (30′) and scrub soiled areas with undiluted cleaner. Then rinse off with hot pressurized water or steam.

B. SOAKING METHOD:

Use a solution of DEGREASER HEAVY DUTY in kerosene or other suitable petroleum solvents for a light cleaning operation, or use neat for heavily soiled parts. Soak items to be cleaned for at least 20 minutes and then rinse off with hot water.

C. CIRCULATION METHOD:

Heat exchangers: Drain heat exchanger and recirculate a solution of DEGREASER HEAVY DUTY in hot water (70-80oC) at a 1:4 rate. Run the pump for at least 12 hours and, if possible, maintain temperature by using the steam jet. Rinse off by connecting heat exchanger to a supply of fresh water and continue rinsing until water runs clean.
Cooling Water Systems: Cleaning can be performed either with the engine running at a normal speed or stopped.

Engine Running:

Add DEGREASER HEAVY DUTY to engine cooling water to achieve a solution of 7 liters per 1000 liters of cooling water. DEGREASER HEAVY DUTY can remain in the cooling water for a few days until convenient facilities are available for draining engine cooling system.

Engine Stopped:

Add DEGREASER HEAVY DUTY to engine cooling water to achieve a solution of 20 liters per 1000 liters of cooling water. Recirculate solution and raise the temperature to approximately 60 oC. Continue recirculation for at least 6 hours. Drain and flush thoroughly with fresh water prior to refilling.

Boilers:

Dosing is largely governed by the amount of contamination. Doses span from 2 to 100 litres per 1000 litres of water depending on contamination. Open steam drum manhole and feed required amount of DEGREASER HEAVY DUTY. Fire boiler for 4-5 minutes and shut down for 20 minutes. Keep repeating this cycle until the solution has reached a temperature close to 60 oC. Then maintain this temperature by cyclic firing for at least 12 hours. Drain boiler and high pressure hose, prior to refilling.
